The Social Media Process

Having a social media process allows us to better understand who you are as a business, the voice you want, and the goals to make everything come together. Together, we will create a great strategy and execute the plan. 

We will outline all the steps that go into our social media services.

Step 1: Collect Assets & Information

We will schedule an onboarding call with you to go over the process and the following questions:

  1. How would you describe your business?
  2. What types of products/services do you sell to your customers?
  3. What type of relationship do you have with your audience?
  4. Who is your ideal client?
  5. How personal can we get on your social platforms? Can we show kids, pets, hobbies, etc.?
  6. Where do you feel you are in your business? What have you tried previously?
  7. What call-to-actions can we use?
  8. How do you envision your online brand? Consider the tone of messaging, emotion in visuals, and anything else you believe to be relevant.
  9. What colours do you associate with your branding?
  10. What are the most important aspects you want us to focus on?
  11. What topics are off-limits?
  12. Is there anything else we should know?

Once the call is complete, we will email you:

  • a link to a Google Drive folder where you can upload your assets and any other information we require. Within will also be a document should we still need some answers to the questions above.
  • a link where you can provide us with your social URLs, usernames, and passwords.

As a reminder, the first month is all about the setup then we create monthly calendars for the following months. This includes your logo, images, and some questions we ask to give us some direction. 

Timeframe: We would appreciate the form being completed within a few days. Please note that any delays in sending the form may cause delays in the monthly service.

Step 2: Setup Your Social Channel(s) & Templates

Before we start the monthly services, we need to set up the channel(s) first. This ensures you have all important business information in your profile and create the images needed for your page and feed. 

We will create six templates for you to be able to review and approve or request changes.

Timeframe: one month from the start date. Please note that any delays in sending the form back to us may result in delayed monthly services.

Step 3: Prepare Your Monthly Calendar

We get working on the content and images for your monthly calendar. Depending on the package you choose will depend on how many weekly post ideas we create. All of your images will be using your company’s brand. 

Timeframe: Within the first few weeks of the month. Please note, your month may not start on the first day of each month. 

Step 4: Review Your Calendar

We will send you the calendar we created for you to review. This will be via Loomly, which is the program we use to manage your social media. We always add you as a user so that you can make notes within letting us know of any change you require. 

Timeframe: We would appreciate your feedback within a few days so that if you do require any changes, it gives us time to update those before the posts are to be scheduled. 

Step 5: Update Posts with Feedback

Only if you require changes will we update the calendar posts with those changes. 

Step 6: Schedule the Posts & Monitor

We will begin to schedule the posts into your social channel(s).

Once the posts hit your feed, depending on the package you’re in we will monitor any notifications and comments that come in, along with responding to those comments. 

Step 7: Send Your Report

You will receive your report to show you how your channel did that month.
