When Should I Use a Login/Registration Page?

Below you can find a few examples of when you can use a login/registration page on your website. If any of these can apply to you, it’s always a good idea to provide functionality on your website to better the experience for your visitors or staff.

Memberships

If your business requires people to become members then having a login/registration page on your website is a great resource for them. Within a member’s login can include their personal information, if you want to go as far as allowing others to view the members.

Another idea is to have an area where the member can log in to view important documentation. These could be important forms, minutes of a meeting, etc..

Events

Think of this like what Ticket Master has. A login area for their users to view any details regarding their upcoming events. This includes event location, date and time, and announcements pertaining to the event.

Another idea for an event is if you’re hosting a webinar or live broadcast and you want people to sign up, you can include a members area to get information about the event you’re hosting.

Staff Area

A login page can be used if you want to provide your staff access to an area where they can view documentation. This documentation can include personal documentation that gets collected when you become an employee for a business. Or maybe you want it to include an area where team meetings are documented and uploaded.

These are just a few examples of when you can use a login/registration page. If you want to include one on your website but have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
