I would say there is no limit to how many times you are posting on social media, but when doing so, there are a couple of things to consider. Here are some tips when posting to your social media channels.

Like anything in marketing, consistency is key. It’s not about how many times or what times you are posting, but choosing a number and a time and sticking with it each day. It can be time-consuming, so start with one or two daily posts and go from there.

Quality Over Quantity

Don’t focus on the number of times over day if you cannot produce quality content. I would rather see you post one quality piece of content per day than multiple that doesn’t provide any value to your target audience.

Think of these things when coming up with post ideas for your social channels:

1. If you saw the post on your feed, would you stop to look at it?
2. Would you understand what it’s about?
3. Does it provide valuable information to your target audience?

If you answered no to any of those questions, you need to rethink your content.

Provide Value to Your Audience

Take the time to prepare your content. It’s always good to take some time to plan out your month. Make sure when coming up with content ideas you’re considering information your audience wants to see not what you think they want to see. People don’t want to hear about you and your business. They want to hear about what you offer and how it benefits them.
