The Website Design Process
for Your Template or Custom Design

We know what it takes to create an unforgettable website that works. That’s why we will schedule a strategy session to go into great detail about your business, the products/services you offer, and the value your customers get when working with you.

Once the agreement has been signed, the strategy session should be scheduled within 1-2 business days.

There will be some assets we need to collect to get the design concepts started.

• Logo files
• Font styles
• Colours
• Images/Videos

You will be provided a shared link to where you can upload all of your assets into. 

To remain on schedule, we require your assets within 5-7 business days.

Now it’s time to put a design concept together for you. We will design 3 pages to start – your home page, about page, and contact page. Working with these pages first allows you to see the concept to determine if we’re heading in the right direction or not.

Depending on your website will depend on the duration of when you can expect to see the design.

Standard Design: 1 week | Custom Website Design: 2-3 weeks

The design concepts are sent to you for your review. 

When reviewing your design, we want you to focus on one main component, the layout. 

• How do you like the overall look and feel?
• Do you like the way the information is laid out?

Here is what not to look at:

• Content: This has either been provided by you, written by us, and approved by you, or is filler text because we have not received content from you. 
• Images: These have been sent by you or the ones we have chosen from the Adobe Stock library.  

Both the content and images are easy to change once you have access to your website.

If any changes are required, we will work on revised design concepts and send them over to you for review when complete.

To remain on schedule, let us know if you require any changes or not within 1-2 business days. If any changes are needed, we will have those updated within 3-4 business days.

This is where we take the design files and start to build them into the website. We will take the content provided or what we have written and build it into pages within your website. 

Once the website has been approved, we will have the implementation complete within 7-10 business days.

We now vet through the website and check the following:

• for broken links
• test contact forms
• ensure pages are mobile responsive

You may have already decided which training option you are going with, but if not, feel free to check out the options available. 

Your website will be tested and ready for launch within 1-2 business days.

The final stage in the website design process is launching the website. Depending on who you want to manage your DNS, we will update the DNS information for you or will send it over to you to make the update.

Once the website is live, we will let you know.
